    Standard Wwe 2k 15 (ps3/xbox360/ps4/xboxone/pc)

    Spoiler:
As the name suggests, the MyCareer fashion tells the career of a wrestler (created by the player), he arrived at the Performance Center (the training of young recruits WWE center), until his retirement. The Performance Center, the hero must make matches before coach in empty rooms. This sequence allows the country to experience the workings of the game. Upon reaching NXT, the first scripted elements arrive, the first rivalries are created.

Once a member of the "main roster," the avatar of the player must attend more games, or choose a manager. It was also at this time in history that wrestlers come to ask you to partner with them. Choices must be made.

It's not very good to be bad

To believe 2K, choices are also an integral part of the gameplay of the game. American publisher even says that the mode is built around the decisions made by the player. As in the real WWE programming decisions (taken during programs WWE or social networks) determine whether the wrestler of the player is a good guy or a bad guy. Logically, the behavior of the hero determine the wrestlers who will be facing. A nice example can be attacked by Brock Lesnar after a match, while a villain will face John Cena.

Later in his career, when he joined the "main roster," Superstar created by the player is dealt face up to other types of decisions. Before a show, Vickie Guerrero, one of the representatives of authority in the game, for example can propose two types of match: a dark match (ie a fight that is not televised) or a game live on television. The first allows you to earn more virtual currency but reports that some fans while the latter is less well paid but is watched by more people likely to become his fans.

About virtual currency, the player wins two types of points in the MaCarrière mode. The first, the Ability Points (AP) are obtained at the end of each game and can unlock techniques. Virtual Currency (VC and therefore "virtual currency" in French) provides the opportunity for its "buy" outlets that can then be attributed to the hero of the game. Because logically, the skills of the protagonist evolve as as his career progresses.

    Without power control is nothing

Before each fight, goals are given to the player ("execute a special move," "run a finisher," etc.). Achieve these goals is the first way to win PA. Parallel to this, a score is assigned to the game. The more successful, the higher the score the better and PA obtained are numerous. WWE 2k15 considers five criteria when evaluating games:

    • Ups and Downs
    • Personal Touch
    • Memorable Moments
    • Big Show
    • Variety of movements

As stated more or less explicitly the above criteria, spammers have any interest in learning to master the different techniques of their avatar. Just repeat the same socket is indeed the best way to earn some points. Note also that although the risk of losing a game is there, a wrestler who won a victory after being dominated by his opponent during a part of a fight to win more points than he has shown an overwhelming superiority all along. Emerge an attempt to fell just before the "3" fateful allows for example to garner points.

Finally, 2K says MyCareer offers the "longest" campaign in its history and promises "surprises" in it. Also note that the player's career may be invaded by wrestlers created by other human players. That's what 2K calls the "Career Invasion." Each player will have the ability to upload the wrestler he imagined in MyCareer fashion on servers in the game. Then appear last in the career of another player (and vice versa).

Past the first few minutes MyCareer fashion show that he clearly has the potential to be a quality contribution to WWE 2K license. It offers fans of the series a unique gaming experience that comes only inflate a life already substantial in previous episodes.

    Continue the fight

In terms of gameplay and feel controller in hand, things have not changed since our first preview conducted in August. Those who come to take the train route can therefore look back on this preview to see what it is at this level. Technically however, it was possible to note that the problems perceived slowdown in August were fortunately no longer present.

The version of WWE 2k15 Playable Paris is richer in content than that of Los Angeles, it was possible to stop on the modeling of a greater number of wrestlers. Regarding heads, very good initial impression is confirmed. Never faces Superstars have been realistic.

That said, the full roster was not available in this version. It was impossible to verify that all wrestlers have been scanned. In an attempt to see more clearly, we asked Bryce Yang what it is. The latter declined to reveal the names of Superstars, Legends and Divas who have not benefited from this technology. However, he said that "almost all" of the characters have been scanned. The roster used during this game session already allowed to say that a majority of players have gone on the lens of Visual Concepts.

As for the body of the wrestlers, it is possible to note a small shift with the faces in terms of quality. The bodies of the characters actually give the impression of not having received the same care as the faces. In addition, a number of scenes input recycle animations already used in previous episodes. Knowing that they used motion capture suspicious imitations (Steve Austin, Ultimate Warrior, etc.), it is unfortunate to see that they are still present in this first episode New Gen. Is this why video inputs wrestlers are not posted by the publisher this year? Impossible to say categorically. Fortunately, entrances of the wrestlers do not reflect the quality of the events during the fighting. As stated in our previous preview, many improvements have been made at this level, to look much more realistic in the clashes.

Final Thoughts (previous words didn't make sense and these seem to fit for the following)

Despite the shortcomings mentioned above, WWE 2k15 has at first sight and at least on PS4 and Xbox One, something to keep for very long hours wrestling fans. It marks a further step in the right direction for the license. Hopefully the influence of Visual Concepts and Research Excellence American studio will become stronger in the years to come. Of course, before judging the game categorically it is now appropriate to wait for the final version.
