Okay, I got it to work and everything. First off there will be a very big "Thank you" to the author(s) of this ingenious user patch, it's incredibly great!!! Everything is working perfectly, it works with my stat mod, and all the new features are great! This will breathe a completely new life into my game, that's for sure! I mean, check this out: now I can manually create beach terrain for example, and I don't have to resort to the slpstudio method for using a custom random map script in the scenario editor, nor do I need to make "fixed random maps" in order to use custom A.I. scripts in multiplayer mode! That's really amazing!

And check this out, the A.I. can actually hunt boars!!!

So I did some testing in order to see whether the new features worked, but then I made a fatal mistake: Trying to see the improved A.I. in action, I started a random map game, difficulty set to Very Hard, and played against two teamed A.I. enemies on a medium-sized (4 players) map. That would prove to be an ill-considered decision. OMG, did the creator(s) of this user patch test their improved A.I.? And if so, did they notice how totally impossible it is to beat the A.I.? I mean, prior to this patch the A.I. used to be a punching bag, but now it's an ass-kicker from hell! You wouldn't believe how hard the two enemies owned me - they kicked my ass so hard I coughed up boot polish

, and I didn't even make use of their "can task up to 250 villies" feature yet...
But to top it all off,
this game took place on a non-rush map!!! It was "Over the River" from Mr. Fixit Online (MFO), which turned out to be michi style, with a river separating the players from each other, and this river was enclosed by pine forest that had to be chopped away in order to reach the enemy. And usually, non-rush maps are impossible to lose to the A.I.! Even if you try to lose the game, you won't accomplish it - unless you use the Update Patch, it seems

. The combined strength of Huns/Turks was just impossible to defend against as Teutons.

The situation was already out of control when that screenshot was taken. Ten minutes later they had already advanced to my last line of towers:

It was totally impossible to even get close to those trebuchets, I tell you. It took them only fifteen more minutes to wipe me out.

By the way, the ability to look at the map in single player mode after the game is over, that's another great feature! Actually, all the new features are great, but the A.I.... it was too weak in the original game, now it's way too strong

. I mean, if that's just a standard random map game, how totally impossible will the campaign missions be??? Currently I'm not even sure if I could beat a single A.I. on a hardest difficulty random map, and I used to be able to finish them in my sleep if I had to... the only option that might be viable would be to rush them before they become too powerful, but I expect that even rushing this A.I. will be a lot harder, they are building their cities much faster now thanks to the removal of that annoying "can only build one of every building at the same time" restriction, and destroying partially built stuff won't strip them of the ability to construct that building any more (and rightfully so! It always felt like a cheap tactic to abuse this loophole!), and last but not least, now it's no longer possible to hit a builder that is working on a 98% built castle to make the A.I. delete it...
Of course, all of those features are good, but they turn the A.I. into an invincible enemy! How the hell am I ever gonna defeat the computer now?
