Kein Coop-Modus?! (Eti) Erst kürzlich berichteten wir, dass "Fable 2" Goldstatus erlangt hat und bereits in Produktion gegangen ist. Am 24. Oktober sollte das Spiel mit allen angekündigten Features auf dem deutschen Markt erscheinen. Grade der im Vorfeld groß beworbene Online Modus, bei dem ihr euch zusammen mit einem Freund ins Abenteuer stürzen könnt, sollte für massig Spielspaß sorgen.

Doch genau dieser Part, auf den sich wohl die Fans mit am meisten gefreut haben, wird man nicht auf der Verkaufsversion von "Fable 2" finden. Der Online-Part soll per Patch nachgreicht werden, so Microsofts Gamerscore Blog. Wer sich jetzt also schon gefreut hat mit seinem Freund über Xbox-Live ins Abenteuer zu stürzen, muss sich noch ein wenig gedulden.

Man arbeitet dezeit noch an dem Online-Part, dieser soll in Nordamerika bereits eine Woche nach dem US-Release nachgereicht werden. Was andere Regionen betrifft, steht derzeit noch nichts fest. Die Entwickler von den Lionhead Studios baten um Gedult und Verständnis.

Das Spiel erscheint am 24. Oktober für die Xbox360.

Hier nochmal auf Deutsch ...

Wie Sam in seinem Blog bei Lionhead berichtet, muss der Inhalt der Limited Edition wegen Produktionsschwierigkeiten gekürzt werden. Demzufolge werden die exklusive Verpackung, die 5 gedruckten Schicksalskarten und die Hobb Figur nicht mehr enthalten sein. Einhergehend mit der Kürzung sinkt der Preis um 10 US-Dollar.

Der zusammengekürzte Inhalt sieht wie folgt aus:

Fable 2 Spiel-DVD
Bonus DVD mit neuem "Making of"-Material
Bonusspielinhalte (benötigen XBox Live):
"The Hall of the Dead" Dungeon
"The Wreckager" legendärer Säbel
Ausserweltlicher Bonus (Halo 3 Rüstung und Schwert)

Als kleine Wiedergutmachung, stellen die Lionhead Studios ein spezielles Musikalbum mit Musik aus Fable 1 und 3 brandneuen Stücken aus Fable 2 zusammen, das ab dem 6. Oktober unter Eingabe des Codes FableCollection bei Sumthingdigital.com für begrenzte Zeit umsonst heruntergeladen werden kann.

Darüber hinaus werden die Artworks der Schicksalskarten zukünftig als Download im PDF-Format zur Verfügung gestellt.

Und das ist Falsch
Hier ne Klarstellung von Seiten Lionheads:

There is an email from GAME doing the rounds on the internet, claiming that the LCE has been further reduced. This information is incorrect; there are no further cuts in the Limited Collectors Edition.
The Developer Diaries and Soundtrack were never going to be a part of the bonus DVD, these can be downloaded for free. The diaries from Xbox LIVE marketplace (or here) and the soundtrack from http://www.sumthingdigital.com, and enter “FableCollection” promotion code. This will be available beginning October 6, 2008 @ 9am PST. (I am sure there are future plans for additional tracks)
You will get the game in the LCE that's for sure, the issue with the Hobbe, cigar box packaging and Fate Cards is beyond everyone's control. I don't have any other details on that.
The videos that are on there are brand new and never-seen-before. The Making of Fable II is based on footage that was filmed over two years, it's unlike most Making of features and a little bit of the footage you will have seen in the video diaries.
I don't know why GAME send that email and I also don't know why sites publish this without checking with us or Microsoft first.
